not animation, only3d designing,... confuse to chose to learn one of them... cinema-4d ,3d-max..
It all depends what you want to do ... and for whom you want to work....
I find SolidWorks the easier program, but than I am not into graphics for gaming ...
I have seen Microstation (Intergraph and Bently's PC version), where walk throughs have been developed; meaning drawing an Industrial Plant with all the piping ect .... usually utilized by Pharmasutical Firms or Goverment (GIS...);
CATIA - used by car firms (like Diamler Benz), or aircaraft industried (like Gulfstream...)
There is no such thing as the easiest program to use.
But if you are a rookie and you NEED to make a choice, go for the one that has TONS of training resources available for free. That will be the biggest asset when building knowledge.
personally i use blender because it's both free and powerful programme which provides a very good and realistic renders , (you can find tutorials on the net like blenderguru or blendercookies ) , but if you prefer the facility you can use google sketch up , in this case you will have to use other expensive softwars like Vray , Lumion.. to creat your renders .
i think3d max
If you want to learn motion graphics then Cinema4D is the best and If you want to design the products and architectural designs3D Studio Max would be easy.
Anyway both are great softwares.
Rhino is the best
3d studio max , I am using max for last10 years for Architectural Visualistaions , broadcast Animation , TV commercials and progropen opener ,
in my opinion i think sketchup
