Solidworks much easier to use & learn. They provide a very good library and alots of reference datas are available freely. This software shall cost around $9000 + which is relatively cheaper.

ProE is more advanced, can be used for complicated designs easily. Their option are much stronger than in SolidWorks. But getting free data is not easy here. Also persons using ProE is less. This is much more expensive.

I think Pro-E is user friendly.

If you want to do solid modelling only, then there is no comparision of Pro-e with Solidworks. Graphic User Interface (GUI) of Solidworks is far more user friendly than Pro-e. For CAD modelling, there is no parallel to Solidworks. But if one is concerned with Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM), then pro-e is much better option. I hope this will help you in making decision regarding selection of software for your work.

Definitely SolidWorks. But ProE's parametric feature helps a lot in manufacturing point of view and the family table feature is better than configuration feature in solidworks.

ProE is best for solid part and Sheet-metal , its gives quick results as compare with SOLIDWORK.

 ProE is Better than SOLIDWORK.
