Your Top management handed you a last-minute task that should be done before the end of the day. What will you do?

VERY BAD MOVE BY SOME BAD MANAGER ................... I WILL TAKE IT AS NORMAL , NO EMERGENCY TO DEAL ..................... ONCE IN A WHILE ITS OK BUT VERY BAD ROUTINE ,,,, WORKING ON THE TASK DEPENDS HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE REQUIRED TO DEAL IT............. GOOD DAY

D. Sit down with the whole team and work on it together

it may not be possible to sit with the whole team, at such a short notice.

Except for option A all other options are correct.

B) If the work is confidential and requires managerial tacts and judgement he should finish it personally.

C) There is no harm in taking the help of the employees as far you vouch it and bear the  responsibility for the same.

D) If the work deserves a team work its always good to avail the same as each member of the team has there own expertise and the work will be done with the perfection.

Whether confidential task or not; disclosing to others may or may not be advisable!

If Top Management relies on me that am capable of accomplishing the task within the timeframe; why should i ask others to involve in it in the first place? 

Take it lightly. Make your mind free make your plan and do your best by not thinking of the end result.

Look if the intention of the management is to trouble you you will get this type of situation regularly.

If it is because of trust then you will have good time soon.
