The input could be Material, Data.
Process is the operation which using Data to gather info for output like Balance Sheet is output of Financial Data,
or Process is the operation in which using the material to make a product, such as a Car,
output can be Service or Product, Processing the Data or Material.

A car line Production can have several process steps, however no matter how many process stages it has, it can only have one output which is a car, same goes for services.
There is an new Engineer program,
the input are the new engineers.
the process is the3 month program, which split into5 stages of Power station sections, within each stage has3-5 different senior engineers teaches things related to that section, the process is very long which is why it break into more than one stage.
From my sales experience, I can say Sales as a whole is a process, but also every element in the sales cycle is a process in its own. So you will have process like:
- Lead generation
- Prospecting
- Negotiating
- Contracting
- Contract implementation\\
- Feedback and Complaint handling
process is a methodology to conduct any work. processes can be different according to the daily routine. A simply process can be passing the security gate to reach the office through verification process. Email process for data collection, analysis process for reviewing data. etc
Process by definition is a series of event when procedure is set of instructions. If I combine both I may say that process is set of (or series of ) procedures.
Process might have sub-processes.
For example process of auditing, process of recycling etc.

Wage measures and follow-up on to complete the payment of salaries
Medical insurance and work to add or cancel insurance
A working system is know as process. the following are the process in sales
suspecting- Prospecting- Approaching- Negotiating & closing

A process may be simply defined as each transformation of input elements
to output ones.
