For me it's both; during and after.
Writing is a process that requires labour. So my mind is more focused on how to make it better, to feel or think anything else. I feel more relaxed after I'm done. I re-read my writing several times, polish it in every way I can, and then send it forward to critics. Completing a piece of writing gives me the primary satisfaction. Reading and hearing reviews, good and bad alike, come later.
Actually during the process and after the process ends. Satisfaction lies in appreciation, it lies in letting your won critic, the one within you, size up your ability to find words, create dialogues and go with the flow.......while the post-process satisfaction would help you appreciate the "whole" in a complete and wholesome manner!
Of course. And I keep reading it over and over.
Mostly I don't want to end the story as much as I'm passionate, because during writing I feel myself that I'm living in it.
It's usually after I'm done writing
