The major different are live view quality which IP can shows much details than analog camera. Although IP is easy to install on Ethernet environment, technician still need to make sure the bandwidth is enough to avoid latency and freeze from all IP camera streaming and CMS operation with current network structure. On the other hand, analog camera installation takes much afford to setup but it maintains stability to shrink the disconnection risk, compares with TCP/IP star topology. To sum up, IP and analog implementation depends on budget and project spec.

IP for sure because when you have a big building and you want to install new security camera it will be very easy for you because you will have a ethernet switch everywhere and just put the camera and give ip address and done no need to install a big wired cables. and on the camera software that you use just search for the new ip and all done small wired cable and done.

but in cctv you need to install long wired cable till the dvr location.

You need to choose the best that meets project environment, client demand of image quality and budget.

if you are looking for small project, good resolution and low budget, go with analog.

if you are looking for small project with excellent resolution go to HD-SDI or CVI analog cctv

if you want to install in home, go with IP wifi cams

and if you need several amount of cams and resolution go to IP as you can manage the cams according to your needs to best meet the resolution, bandwidth and storage.
