How the connection will be between two SDH equipment for redundancy?

actually you can redundant you SDH equipment and let the service path through main and backup SDH equipment but it is costly.
I suggest you work to protect the services instead of protecting SDH equipment in the access level.you can change the topology, protection type (ASON ,MSPring, SNCP) and make backup of the power system (Rectifier, Batteries) .
In the core network you need to protect SDH equipment .

thank you for your answer, but our all services are dropped in one equipment I mean there are four rings dropped in one equipment.
for this reason I think this equipment should be redundant .

Three types of protection schemes exist for SDH.
MSP will work in Ring topology with not more than16 nodes in a ring.
SNCP works between two nodes irrespective of the topology.
ASON works on mesh topology to have fiber level redundancy.
