I Believe that a HOME is also a house , but a House is not necessarily a Home , but it could become one . In other words , some people would associate the Former ( HOME ) , with the Latter ( HOUSE ) in the most literal sense of the word & will regard them as Synonyms . However , a HOME is different than a HOUSE in the sense that a HOME is a structure that's physically established on the ground , but with all the inherent deep-rooted & deep-seated in-born human ( innate feelings , perceptions , conceptions , intuitions , counter intuitions , fears , concerns , worries , dreams , hopes , expectations , inner-thoughts , aspirations , inspirations , despondencies , accomplishments , achievements , gains , inroads, overtures , short-comings , ups & downs , trials & tribulations , successes & failures ... etc ) , that one encounters & experiences in life , & , come along as immaterial aspects of it . Whereas , a HOUSE is just a physical structure that's invariably lacking , & , devoid of any of the above-mentioned palpable intrinsic & introvert human inner-workings , even if it's occupied by human beings . Now , a HOME which is also a HOUSE , could change , even overnight , into a just mere HOUSE , that's when all the immaterial things ( i.e feelings ) cease & stop being an integral & integrant part of such a soon-to-be-house HOME . Once that transpires , the supposed HOME will automatically morph into just a HOUSE ( Physical Structure ) . By the same token , a HOUSE ( Mere Physical Structure ) , could transform , even on a dime , into a HOME , once such immaterial components have begun to be incorporated , whether by default or by design , into the physically structured Dwelling ( HOUSE ) . And one ought to bear in mind that such Transposition & Transformation process ( From a HOME into a HOUSE , & vice verse ) , isn't always a planned one , in the sense that , one could not , out of the blue , decide on-the-spur-of-the-moment to make a HOME a HOUSE or the other way around , just because they felt like it . It's an incremental & gradual process that takes place in increments , & , it could take a long time , or it could occur on-the-spot , & , out of thin air , but after a period of considerable human interaction & involvement , or , their lack of . At the end of the day , the OCCUPANTS , are the ones who decide whether a mere Physical Structure , is considered & looked at as is , or , that it could qualify to be a HOME , that one , not only resides & sojourns in , but also , utilizes as a safe-heaven , & , as a spring-board , to get in touch with their most inner self , & , to prosper & flourish , develop & evolve , live & mourn , act & re-act , affect & be affected , influence & be influenced , like & dislike , love & be loved , shape & be shaped , with themselves , & , the people in their immediate vicinity & close proximity ( Family , Friends & Acquaintances ) , & , the community at large , in an equation & formula , that revolves around , & , predicated on the human soul & spirit theme . ( & That's the way it goes ) .

Not all pads with four corners and a ceiling can be considered a home.
House is, just on a structural point of view.
It is up to the residents if they will make a home out of it.
Let me tell you Interesting answer
House with(Last three letter "use") means use and return.
Home with(Last two letter "me") means only for me.
I think you always own a home and mostly you are on rent/lease for a house
house is the building in which we live for specific time but home is updated form of huse in which we live and attached our emotions with moments we spend in it with our family and friends.
That's correct because the proper composition of RCC and others makes a strong and beautiful house BUT a home needs added flavors like Love, Affection, True Caring, Belongingness etc.
Yeah, as Mr. Michael said rightly, A house is built by stones and A home is built by hearts. Now you know the difference.
"Home is where the heart is" as the saying goes. It really rings true. Everywhere else is just a place to stay, rest or work, where your heart lies is home.
You know, I rarely recommend something on the Internet because I think people already know this info, but this article caught my attention. https://www.roofadvisor.co.uk/roofers-liverpool/ here everything is briefly about the roofs from Liverpool, we can say that this is a review of all the best roofs and it was extremely interesting to watch and read.
