First impressions really do count! And there are many firsts in the process of getting a new job including the written application, the interview and the first day. few things would be dress to impress, be well informed about company procedures background and history,prepare for questions likely to be asked,  be on time, have confidence and smile .

Yes, it is indeed an art.

Here are few tips;

1- Research the company you are interviewing for.

2- Study your resume well & know the position you are applying for.

3- Be prepared for the interview. Use a tool kit if required.

4- Dress nicely, use proper body gestures.

5- Be open & clear in your thoughts

6- Ask questions.

Infact the first impression is the main key in interviews aswell as any professional meeting,

the dressing and the body language represent a part of the personality.

For me, I look straight to my interviewer, i pay attention and listen, I talk when I have to, using simple language and I be myself.
