Beech wood is very absorbent. it soaks up moisture a lot. thus it makes sense that it is not idea for either out door furniture or to use in locations where the air is very damp and humid.

Beech wood is very absorbent. it soaks up moisture from the environments. beech wood dos not contain oil to resest temperature variations and to reses the termite attack. further more, the beech wood elastisity dos not meet with the standard requirements for outdoor wood works such as Gazebos and Pergolas.
