Wind Loads
Soil Lateral Load
Dead Loads
Earthquake Loads
Live Loads
Structural Integrity
This informations are related to Civil engineering, and to be more specific they are related to structural design.
Thank you for invitation. These all loads are taken in consideration while designing a structure.
These data needed by structural designer to determine the cross-section shape and Dimensions of all structures members as well as the amount of reinforced bars
HOWEVER A RELATED DESIGN CONSIDERATION IS THE NEED FOR THE STRUCTURE TO HAVE STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY
A STRUCTURE IS SAID TO HAVE STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY IF IT IS ABLE TO WITHSTAND LOCALISED DAMAGE OR FAILURE OF STRUCTURAL MEMBER CAUSED BY ANY UNFORESEEN OR ABNORMAL EVENTS ( THAT MAY REASONABLY BE EXPECTED) LIVE LOADS,DEAD LOADS ,EARTHQUAKE LOADS WIND LOADS ,SOIL LATERAL LOADS, WITHOUT ..SPREAD OF DAMAGE OR COLLAPSE TO A LARGE PART OF THE STRUCTURE
All described are the basis for structural or civil calculation, all based on the specs of the Project and regulations/Codes. Sometimes the codes or regulations refer to other codes ( fi. Eurocode or UBC)
Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering... codes one has to conform to
