Ty to work on some freelance projects. And all that on your c.v. to rehabilitate you to reach this positions as fast as you can.
If there are an opportunity to work on a position less than you're working for, for some while, Do not reject it. And make it an opportunity to learn more and more.

No matter how many books you read or google about customer service ..I see that it all comes from deep inside ,, you have to have the passion and personality of a customer service representative ...not all people can really succeed in it .
here are some brief points :
1- Always put in mind that the customer is not mad at you personally .
2- Sincerely serve your customer they can highly sense that.
3- Some times you have to be cleverly and politely firm if the client is over reacting.
4-try to show that you did your best to try to help even if you know earlier that you can't.
5-a friendly smiley face/ voice can do miracles.

To do so you have to understand both your customer and company requirements. try to be best among your colleges, deliver best, lead by example, be smart, try to be helping hand for your colleges and above all be consistent with your performance.
Also you need to see if the company you are working with will have a space for a supervisor in a future or not otherwise polish you self and then understanding your goals approach for new opportunities out side your company.
