Speaking from my own brief experience, I have found that adopting an active project risk management framework is critical to the success of the project on all dimensions (budget, quality, timeliness). It creates a dilligent forward-looking mindset among all project stakeholders, and enhances communication between them to address risks before thy manifest on ground.

For the project to be successfull the folowing aspects should be in control

1. Design : design to perform as per the customer requirement as well as , per contract.

2. Safety & Quality : Develop safe working methods , especially in Infrastructure Projects, deliver with quality.

3. Budget : Plan the entire activity to complete with the budget.

4. Time schedule  & progree monitoring : Alawys match the progress of the project with master network.

5. Most Important : Maintain relation with all stakeholders with transparent communication.

1) Create a very logical budget of the project and after its approval make sure the availability of funds accordingly before the project kick off and take full responsibility of using the funds till successful completion of the project.
Any change in budget during the project should have very logical reasons like change in scope of work from customer, Government rules changes not under control, etc.2) Understand the demands of the project and appoint the right people for the right jobs with clear guide lines given to them.3) Create all the supply chain mechanism for the material requirement of the projects with various approved vendors and ensure timely release of orders and ability of suppliers to deliver without compromising any delay caused.

all supply vendors should be predefined and analysed, rather frame contracts signed with them along with fixed prices as per the budget stated in point number one, so that the project teams ordering as per their requirement should have a smooth delivery procedure.4) Keep a track of performance from the vendors as well as teams working on the project.
Keep on motivational attitude alive with various rewards for successful project mile stones achieved.
Be strong to take hard and urgent decisions in case of bad performances, however in such events of bad performance all aspects should be catered for carefully i.e.
by replacing or punishment what affects on the project progress and accordingly such decisions to be made if no other choice.5) Monitor and keep consistent all progress and budgeted expenses to ensure successful completion within required time lines.

The main five critical points ,necessary for the sucess of any project to be achieved on time under budget and to specification are1-Full definition of the goals and objectives of the project by skillful development of the project scope management plan.2-Development of a good realistic project schedule.3-professinal skills for developing the cost estimation plan for the project to ensure efficient usage of the project resources.4-Developing a good project communication plan to ensure excellent management of the communication between all the stakeholders in the stakeholder register in order to minimize the potential impact of the risks on the project and achieving good practice of the stakeholders strategy and risk traceability matrix .
5- Skillful identification of the project manager who has high level of interpersonal skills and leadership to be able to acquire the good right project team to co-operate and collaborate effectively and uniquely to handle the deliverables of the project on time.under budget and to the requirement specifications.
