During my military career in HM's Royal Air Force I was given the opportunity to fly as an Air Loadmaster. From day one of my Aircrew training I never looked back, I was presented with the chance to travel the world, see sights that I had previously only dreamt about, met people from different countries and cultures and experienced things that I never thought possible, both good and bad. After leaving the military I was fortunate enough to continue flying as a Flight Manger with an Air Cargo Company and my adventures continued up until such time as for family reasons I had to settle for a more sedantory life on the ground! I have to say that the pay was good but but the excitement and sheer enjoyment overcame any monetary considerations!!
