Attitude is how you feel and what you say.
Behavior is how you act.
I'll try to differenciate both by giving examples:
How consistent are you at work, or how seriously do you want to achieve your goal? That's your attitude towards work
How do you talk to people/react to instances/your body language. That's a behavourial trait.
Behaviour is how you Act in a situation; when its become a pattern of your own.. i.e at all the times/ situation you behave in the same way then its become Attitude. In simple you got tensed at a situation its your behaviour But if you keep get tension for each and everything it is your Attitude.
An attitude is the established beliefs of an individual produced through their assessment (judgement) upon any given subject
Behavior is the outward actions of individuals (or groups) that are impacted by attitudes (values), environments, relationships, and felt needs.
What is the main difference between attitude and behavior?
Attitude and behavior are two quite different things. Attitude is a person's inner thoughts and feelings, while behavior is usually an outward expression of attitude, but the two are not always related.
An attitude is 'a learned emotional and behavioural response to a stimulus or situation'.
Behaviour- how someone acts attitude- is more someone's manner or disposition etc,
Attitude & behavior – it’s really a two way street.
Psychologists define attitudes as a learned tendency to evaluate things in a certain way. This can include evaluations of people, issues, objects or events. Such evaluations are often positive or negative, but they can also be uncertain at times. For example, you might have mixed feelings about a particular person or issue.
Attitudes can also be explicit and implicit. Explicit attitudes are those that we are consciously aware of and that clearly influence our behaviors and beliefs. Implicit attitudes are unconscious, but still have an effect on our beliefs and behaviors.
Attitudes form directly as a result of experience. They may emerge due to direct personal experience, or they may result from observation. Social roles and social norms can have a strong influence on attitudes. Social roles relate to how people are expected to behave in a particular role or context. Social norms involve society's rules for what behaviors are considered appropriate.
How Do Attitudes Influence Behavior?
We tend to assume that people behave in accordance with their attitudes. However, social psychologists have found that attitudes and actual behavior are not always perfectly aligned. After all, plenty of people support a particular candidate or political party and yet fail to go out and vote.
Attitude is how you handle the work and behavior related to your work skills..
Attitude is what you have set up in your mind that you should be.Behavior is the total out put or result of your attitude.
The main difference between an Attitude and behaviour is mind and body.
An attitude is through your views , your thinking and what you are, behaviour of body languages change according to situation.
If someone is very happy and confident it shows up in his behaviour , if someone is nervous and have many doubts his / her body langauge is visible.
Attitude is how I feel inside. Attitude is the real me. Behaviour is my response to a certain situation. Example Situation: An employee, most often is absent or late for work. Manager's Attitude : can be suspicious, considerate, worried etc. Manager's Behaviour : he may have a poker face, he may micro manage you, etc.
Attitude: The mental reaction towards external stimulators.
Behaviour:The Physical reaction towards external stimulators.
