sure it is feasible to get more quality and safe production of vegetables in less area. although its not feasible for all vegetables.

Yes, Through Hydroponics technology we are growing 55 types of vegetables here in UAE. I am an Agriculture Engineer here. The production is also good as compared to soil farming.
