The Abu Dhabi EHSMS Regulatory Framework guidance document outlines the EHS Representatives’ roles and responsibilities as follows: • Providing advice on the implementation of EHS policy and procedures; • Raising EHS matters and issues to management on behalf of employees; • Communication and awareness raising of EHS requirements; • Assisting with conducting EHS inspections of the workplace; • Assisting with the investigation of EHS issues or incidents; and • Attending EHS committee meetings.
