What is the Three Characteristics of an Ethical Dilemma?

Honesty, Responsibility, Reliability, Goal-Oriented, Job-Focused

- The individual is aware of the situation and that it will effect others

- It requires that a choice or more has to be made

- The individual is uncertain about what is the best choice and whether  it will solve the question

Honestly there are more than three of such a contra virtual subject.

1. Choice between equally undesirable alternatives

2. Different courses of action possible

3. Involves value judgments about actions or consequences

4. Data will not help resolve issue

5. Different sources (psychology, theology) offer resolutions

6. Unfavorable outcomes will result

7. Choices have far-reaching effects on persons, relationships and society

8. Resources which must be allocated are finite or limited

9. Can be resolved, not solved

10. There is no “right” and “wrong”

1. The problem cannot be solved using only empirical data.2. The problem must be so perplexing that it is difficult to decide what facts and data need to be used in making the decision.3. The results of the problem should have far-reaching effects.

An ethical dilemma is a debate between two moral principals, where two sides can argue about what is wrong or what is right. However, there is no real answer to an ethical dilemma. It is simply a matter of what one believes in.
