Hi,
Firstly you step into bare spaces and see possibilities for redesign and renovation. Keeping the importance of not only aesthetic appeal but functionality in mind, they design and furnish residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. If you are artistic and creative, consider majoring in interior design. You will learn how to create practical and beautiful indoor environments, but the major involves more than comparing color swatches; interior designers must be familiar with federal, state, and local interior design codes. You must also have strong interpersonal skills, as designers must communicate with contractors, electricians, carpenters, and clients. And will also need to work within budget constraints to fulfill clients’ expectations.
Major things first as your even responsible for the environment of the client's project and if you don't like the big fish tank to be fixed in the house and client want it to be added you need to fix it in the interior plan, as you can't have your own opinion for the designing. You need to go according to the client wishes. And make sure you need to add some beautiful greenery to make the interiors more attractive.
Hope had given you the best answer of my knowledge.
Thank you,

well, on general terms, creating a beautiful environment without practicality kills thw beauty
the idea of such environments is to act much as a background music where u feel it more than you admire it's visuals...because you wont pay attention to it all the time in terms of visuals.
The element of practicality depends mainly on the space available & the nature of the environment you want to create...to create somethin beautiful is not that much of a challenge , the challenge is always in the practicality.... if you want an environmnet that is both beautiful & practicle you have to analyze all the data you can collect about the space, concept, materials, budgets, duration of excution as well as durability.... bottom line, research before you pin down any major plans
