Improve motivation of employees, (do they feel forced to work or are the happy to contribute, why)? Enable employees to perform to their best ability (are employees trained well enough or are they guessing)? Employees get rewarded for performance so make sure your employees are committed, enabled and happy to perform, make realistic agreements and help employees to improve performance.
Improve smoother processing, (remove bottle necks in process) Use technology to your advantage, (how can technology help to improve your employee’s performance)? In summary: identify and remove all barriers to performance and establish an environment where everybody can contribute and grow with improved performance.

If you look at performance holistically, you need to intervene at three levels:

1. Individual Performer: Ensuring individual has the right knowledge, skills and is motivated to perform.

2. Resources : Ensuring Individual has the right resources, tools and physical layout to perform

3. Environmental: Ensuring Individual is clear on goals, has fair workload, access to right people & authority to perform. Apart from supportive policies, feedback, reward & recognition program to nurture performance.
