It is as obvious as option A but if you ask me the most suitable kpi for hospital i would always go for patient response time i.e. how much time is it taken to treat a patient and how much time patient had to actually wait to be treated. There is a study of per. Mngmt in six sigma where it was revealed that patient dont actually like to wait in the hospital. So there you go ....
a) Out Patient and In Patient Revenue
I would agree with Mr.Nouman Mustafa on patient response time provided what is being evaluated is customer perspective. The question is more of a financial measure. The two are different KPIs for different areas.
The correct and available answer could be in this case A . However, Other KPIs could be taken into consideration, like Number of ,monthly beds, no of direct clinic patients. Overall no of cases. Time consuming in fact is not a KPI for the revenues, but it could be a KPI for the satisfaction and the quality service delivered for a patient in fact. Thank You
a) is the correct answer. Being it is a humanitarian service industry should not ONLY be based on revenues.
The KPIs should be based on the loyalty and customer feedback on services provided by the each Healthcare department.
