Flaws in system may be due to several reasons. It may be a flaw in design, where the designed estimates the value that makes the system undersized or oversized. An optimum load estimation is highly desirable. Next it may be a flaw in the components of the system that supports the plant/equipment such as absence of appropriate valves/fittings.

Monitoring & Controlling usually has two major components (field sensors & system) that needs careful attention while specifying a BMS. A field sensor communicates with the system with constant monitoring & controlling the desired parameters in the scope of the system such as actuation of the valves, on/off system, regulating dampers, etc. A system usually comprises a CPU & a big screen that depicts the live working of the system with accurate readings.
