Firstly employer should have a clear image of what kind of candidate they are looking for,. If that is there select the best candidate you have reviewed rather going through the whole500 CV.

Is this digital application? you can simply filter candidates' qualities on relevancy to the role and review selective candidates when you hit you acceptable criteria. Usually, filters end up missing some good candidates. Finding the best candidates with simplified approach is oxymoronic, if you want the best you cannot simply skip on effort in life.

Its VERY tough Question

best approach to review500 resumes for1 post.

it needs to have situation-  If its for post of CEO, its worth reviwing500 profiles.

So first we shall be clear, what is the post for and skills required.

Because Mostly You cant afford to review500 cv for1 post.

idea is nice but not practical.

still-

I will ask data entry opertor to enter all resume details in excel first

with number of years, education, same domain exp, low salary expectaion, home town, gender

any recommendations , age,  and USE Filters to make it40-50 ppl.

second- will ask cordinator to speak to all50 ppl and select best communicaters unless I am hiring for accountent.

will get15 people to final list and will meet these15 ppl.

:)

Cheers
