Augmentation Mammoplasty (is a cosmetic surgery) is a surgery for enlargement of breast where Breast Implants are inserted underneath the breast tissue. Various aspects are needed to be considered before opting for this surgery such as surgeons experience, cost of breast implants, post surgery breast garments, facility costs, etc. It is not covered by most of the insurance companies. Some companies even don't cover the breast diseases caused in patients who have undergone breast augmentation. Countries which have social insurance such as UK, does not cover such surgeries as it carries opportunity costs with it. It's a term used in economics where in countries like UK with social insurance the amount spend on the cosmetic surgeries can be used for patients suffering from critical illnesses, or disabled patients due to accidents, or knee replacement surgeries where the patients can be brought back to normalcy and can go to work again which can contribute to the economy of the country.
What is the purpose of this question? is it religious point of view that is required or is it a measure to the medical advancement in one's country?
