I believe in both processes, the technique & skills used are the same. When you are negotiating salary, be prepared for it before the interview. If you have sound info., you can easily negotiate.
Mind it, if you are successful to sell yourself and the employer offered you the job, he will pay you the demanded price.
Almost the same. But the employer has upper hand, which the customer may not have
Thanks for the invite,
I see the issue differently. Simply negotiating a salary and benefits is something depending on others matters that are not necessarily involved in another case when carrying out the process with a customer as it is done in marketing.
The similiraties are prevailing
NO . Negotiation on salary and negotiating an offer with a customers are completely different . It’s my opinion.
Yes , as in both cases the two parties have the same goals and both process require the same skills
No i don't think that negotiating your salary and benefits the same as negotiating an offer with a customer so i disagree with other experts because Concerned about negotiation you need to Arm yourself with data from Job Search Intelligence. The salary calculator gives you a personalized compensation value to take to your negotiations. Use this tool to guide the conversation to get the compensation you deserve.but for the customer you sell him product , so weather he take it or leave it your personality compensation value it is not going to be heart.
They are both negotiation and acquire negotiation techniques however the most important difference is that when you have an offer for the customer you are selling your / your company products and services, while you are negotiating a job offer you are practically "selling" yourself which makes it more personal. In that case you should adjust your salary and benefits negotiation to be led of more objective rather than subjective reasons.
Yes, it is possible in different situations.
Sir It all depends on demand and supply and after a certain level the way u market u r self.
Your ability to relocate would be an added advantage. But yes the employer has the upperhand.
No. Because when negotiating an offer with a customer the ultimate deciding authority is me whereas when negotiating my salary the deciding authority would become my Boss.
