Comprehensive wellbeing at work.
Non-smoking policy in some Saudi Arabian establishments has been largely welcomed.
With smoking now delegated to some outer areas of hospitals for example.
Fitness classes are taking place in some of the hospitals on an afternoon during lunch break.
This gives opportunity for most staff, especially those who have sedentary jobs (office jobs) to participate.
Walking groups are increasing with some taking place in the afternoon or after working hours.
Charity walks have also encouraged staff to get active for good causes.; Safety groups are doing inspections at work to encourage more improved ways of positioning oneself or equipment whilst working.
Ergonomically addressing issues cannot be underestimated.
What has to be taken into account is that there is a different work ethic in some of the Gulf countries/ME compared to that of for example UK, USA and some European countries.
Although there is high employment in the ME, there is a slow take up of jobs by nationals.
Prayer times, Ramadan reduced working hours can mean added workload for others yet many facilities are shut, have reduced opening hours and not available for use.

Not all GCC countries are able for comprehensive wellbeing at work , escpically KSA & Oman due to several reason(s):1.
They consider NON-NATIVE empowerment may impact national security with time.2.
Youth population increase sharply - & such issue lead to highly unemployment with time, which will lead to unprofessionalizm during hiring process, which will automatically lead to unhealthly business environment within Organization.
