Its the evaporator, because if moisture content is present in the evaporator the refrigerating effect is getting reduced, and of course the coefficient of performance is also getting reduced, and if this moisture is pumped into the compressor unit there is higher probability of fast wear n tear , and will adversely affect the entire vapour compression refrigeration cycle
