There are no short cuts to learning a language. Some learners are better than others, some teachers are better than others and some methods work better than others. However, a good teacher should employ a range of teaching methods, if not just to keep lessons interesting and engaging, but also to accommodate the variety of learning types he/she has amongst their students. You can find ways to help you pass the prerequisite language exam that you take to get the grade needed to enter an English speaking university or company. But whilst you may be able to cheat the test, you won't cheat your university or your new employer. They will find out very quickly whether you can actually use the language at an appropriate level and if you can't they will get rid of your very quickly.
