These 'diploma' schools are often not 'up to speed' as are accredited colleges, so you need to do your homework in checking into their rules, regs, placements after graduation and how many students graduate. ALL that information is on the internet for you to help decide. BUYER BEWARE...in one situation I knew of a group of students PAID their tuition to 'hairdressing school' and completed their time and hours in 'high standing' only to have their school CLOSED due to poor standards by the state......they lost their MONEY, and their 'dream!' NO REFUND. So choose carefully.
Associates degrees are usually a two year program at an accredited college...and 'rank higher' when there is the possibility you might move out of state or need your degree to really be 'counted' well when seeking employment once you obtain the degree. It can be in MANY areas of profession.
Bachelors degrees count ABOVE the associates and usually require a four year completion. If you want the opportunity to RISE to the top of 'your field' then shoot for the moon! Once you STOP at the associates level in many career areas, you cannot be considered for HIGHER promotions until you complete the bachelors degree.
Masters is the MORE WIDELY NEEDED degree if you want to move UP with no obstacles and have the best chance at gaining THE BEST employment, especially since our job market now is filled with so many people seeking the SAME job. It usually requires5 to6 years until completion.
