Quantitative analyses are the ways to answer quantitative questions : how many of the product should we make?(the answer is a number) , how much fund should we consider? (the answer is a number). Some times fore better analysis depending on the situation the qualitative question could be answered in a quantitative answer and then change the answer to a qualitative answer.
