I used to sell perfumes online on national shopping website. I would just go to local businesses take pictures of their products and post them online in return for commission if i brought them orders and it did well. Offline : you could collobrate with other dealers who are in revelant industry but not your competion to display your products by renting their little space. They would have additional income on rent and you would additional display space. By the way there is never a best strategy . Its always trial , error & replan , rexecute.

Dear Zaid,

I think there is one marketing strategy that everyone should be using in their business specially for a local store in a small town (Online-Offline) . I consider it the best marketing strategy of all time.

This is a strategy called Partnership Marketing, also sometimes referred to as Strategic Alliances or Joint Ventures.

In a nutshell it is where you find other businesses that share the same (or similar) customers to you, but you are not competing. Then you agree to promote their product or service to your customers with an agreement that they will reciprocate.

This is sometimes known as Endorsed Marketing and in my experience it’s at least10 times more powerful than marketing to cold prospects that have never heard of you before.

Online Try to find Partners where you can advertise on their websites, blogs and also you have Social Media Marketing.

Offline Try to find partners where you can exchange your products/services with them.

Regards,
