If by "inside sales" you mean : sitting in the office, dealing with customers electronically (internet, phone, fax, HDVC - High Definition Video Conferencing etc.) as opposed to going out in the field; then let me tell you that it is vitally important in B2B to see customer & their office/premises fully. So it is obvious that field visits are a must. The only difference is frequency; you can reduce or increase depending on your objective.

All are better madam, it just depend upon your nature and location of the job and nature of the business too. so think upon each factor and decide yourself which one will be better for you. suppose in African country where there is some problem of security as i am facing here in Nigeria then I may not do field sales everyday and alone. I need to make some planning and also will have to take some precaution also, so all depends upon factors.
OUTSIDE SALES:- A job in outside sales generally suits self-starters. If you work better independently than with a set schedule and team, this may be the field for you and INSIDE SALES:- If you prefer working a set amount of hours per day in an office, you may be better suited for inside sales. For energetic motivators and result oriented people might should look for outside or field job in which you have a chance to develop and increase number of wide customers meeting them face to face,
However, for ladies the other my be the better option.
Field sales, or outside sales, is the process by which companies visit leads and sell to them in person. Field sales representatives typically work for B2B and wholesale organizations whose sales processes rely on relationship-building and long-term contracts.
The sale of products or services by sales personnel who reach prospects or customers by phone or online, rather than traveling to meet them face-to-face. Inside sales relies on the phone, emails and the internet to reach prospects or customers.
The answer depends on you and what you enjoy doing.
Both have enough opportunities in the future. Inside sales roles are getting more and more interesting due to the digital world and the proliferation of the internet.
Field sales is fun for those who enjoy meeting people and like to followup. It requires a development of a certain personality.
No matter how much potential each of these options have, your success will depend on your interests and willingness to run the marathon. There are no short cuts to success.
