The trick is to answer the latter question in a way that sounds like a negative about you but in fact that is a positive, I am not going to bother with the first because I am sure that is very basic, the second however can be answered with something like "I can be hard to get along with some people because I am a perfectionist and do not settle for less" or something similar to that.

It is a soft question and is best answered factually to highlight one's strengths; however, the bad points have to be hinting towards hidden strengths again at best with need of some training or a bit of additional experience or need of exposure / opportunity i.e. lack of knowledge about a particulAR GEOGRAPHY IN WHICH ONE HAS NOT WORKED...

simply answer the truth , they want to know your strength points and your weakness spots , they probably want to improve your weakness points and use your strength points to improve the company :)
