It still remains the KYC approach, knowing your clientele. Each customer has its own peculiarities, imagine selling a product for the native Indian in the future and you are looking for a social app, you will not be able to move ahead. Just know your customer and use the approach most appreciated by them be it social media or message in the bottle type

What a great question that kept me thinking about the future product -client connection in terms of marketing. i feel social media will still remain relevant because the current generation is so much addicted to information technology and it is evident by the evolution of applications to solve daily problems or making work easier. However, let us not trash the KYC approach as mentioned earlier on by Mr Oluwasen ( knowing your clients) and their uniqueness is key in attracting them. there will be a percentage of potential clients, that will be attracted with the ancient marketing tools.
