I looked up "McKinsey's9-box framework" to verify what it was, and guess what link appeared on the first page of my search engine?

It looks like a somewhat complex formula, but shouldn't be any more complicated than running150 business units which is apparently what it was designed to assist with doing.

McKinsey9-box framework is just a model or a tool ,,, It is a good tool of course, but its value depends very much on how it is used and what input you feed it with, Of course, we all remember the saying "" Garbage-in / Garbage-out"

I agree with Mr. Thaib comments, that this will help clear people who cannot contribute to the organisation. Mostly used as HR practices to get the real talent in the industry. This will help organizations standardize and can measure efficiency of manpower..
