I also would add that not only particular project result  is important for seniour managment, but upbringing good effective team and having strong teams is important for organisation future.

good leader must develop his successories, team based only on one person is not a useful team and it is bad leadership-if leader has nothing to say about team members' contribution-it is bad leadership on my opinion
