Does certified associate in project management (CAPM) certification have any market value?

Theoretically yes, but in reality I don't thing it has a market value

market is looking for a project managers and not considering CAPM as a qualification to manage a project. may be it works for whom is looking for project coordinator or PM assistant.

Yes. It is a good step to be a member in Project Management field.

But if you have a experiance more than five year, i think its better to go with PMP certificate.

If you want to make an entry in project management field, then CAPM can add value to your credentials. However if you already have project management experience, then it's better to go for PMP certification. Just my thoughts
