I think by the time they pass preschool they will sing the alphabets and have an idea of how the A B and C looks...
If you put the alphabets in a singing way and make it fun the kids can learn it in a few days!
An average kid can do it (English Alphabets learning by heart) in3 months. Reading by recognizing the alphabet and writing takes more than a year.
OR does this not exist? Not exist because each child's learning abilities are very different and there are too many variables to consider in determining what age a child "should" know the ABCs. If that is the case and there isn't a standard age at which kids should know the Alphabet how old was your child when they could say the whole alphabet? I'm curious because i was never around children much... so after all the baby milestones like at3-4 months they will hold their heads up, at ?? - ?? they'll begin to crawl, etc...are achieved i feel like I don't know when learning specific things should take place. Obviously,My son FOFO .....i think he's a genius (hahaha) and he is 15 months old and knows and sings the 3 alphabet. I was pretty excited that he's not even2 years old yet and can do this, then i thought, who am i kidding, i don't even know if there is an age?
