WMS is "warehouse management system" & this is includes staff, information, equpemint .etc . as any system it has input, outputs & processing procesures

While SAP is refer to brand name of an business application or enterprise software developed by  IBM

A warehouse management system (WMS) is a software application that supports the day-to-day operations in a warehouse.

 

WMS is system which controls the movement and storage of materials within a warehouse 

It includes shipping, receiving, putaway and picking

 

WMS keeps track of the progress of products through the warehouse.
