Indoor offices need more of health awareness because employees engage in some unsafe practices which are detrimental to their health. Such practices include improper managing of power source, pile loads of papers/documents close to power socket. careless and disorder arrangement of the office, poor ergonomics, what about poor house keeping. All these requires attention or else it can cause a big incident and loss to business.
COVID has improved office maintenance and personal conscience levels of co workers. Masks are in use in most places.
Occupational health is very imp in the office related to ergonomics & computer vison syndrome
The Office Worker contrary to popular belief has equal share of occupational hazards.
Extended working hours
Ergonomic stress causing mechanical back pains

Occupational Health is a major practice in the field of work. A healthy workplace contributes to a healthy worker. Issues for office workplaces are the lack of good lighting, colours, (ergonomic issues) and many more.
Occupational health application in the office is often over look, but a very important area of course.
There is need for applicationnof standard operating procedures for simple tasks like lifting, climbing to place items on the shelf, replacement of light bulbs, fire safety /electrical safety at work; which are often over look and can result in injury/ injuries.
Application of good house keeping is also very important such as none blockage of emegency outlets in the office environment.
