If someone is to hire for his company, should he hire a diverse work force or a workforce totally from a specific cluster/ group?

I believe that while hiring for one's company, one must recruit a diverse and well balanced team / workforce.
Different but Right hires with different experiences, talents and skills with ample dedication and hardwork - led by a Good Leader can spearhead the company towards success...

It depends on the type of job. If you want to hire a HR professional, you can hire him from any industry/ company which is bigger than your company so that the person has more experience than others in employee matters. But if you want to hire for production, then you will have to hire from a specific industry so that he has experience about products to be manufactured and related issues. But a diverse workforce is always better as different people from different industries are sharing their experiences and hence able to solve more departmental/ organizational matters. Its same like investing in one business or dividing it into different industries. The more will be the diversity, the less will be the risk,
