Criticism is an opportunity to learn. It is a chance to discover how to do something better. Do this enough times and you will get a promotion or a better job.
The following applies to constructive criticism. Negative or destructive criticism is not criticism at all, it is usually bullying.
1. Decide to regard criticism as a positive thing (and not a negative one)
2. When you are criticised, remember that the criticism is of one particular thing, and not of you as a person
3. Engage with the criticiser. Discuss what they have to say.
4. Find the positive aspects to your performance. Figure out how to solve the negative ones. Make a plan for how to do the task next time.
accept criticism with grace and appreciation
Always by introspection,as I know my strengths and weakness better then the people who criticize.Sometimes we ignore our own faults and keep repeating it,so when criticized ,at least we know the problem.Best way to react to criticism at work to put your head down and keep working.Also,sometimes it helps to ask for help,preferably from HR,colleagues and senors.
There is no harm in accepting the improvement area, but never criticize publically or in group. The best way to learn and to improvise is to conveyance the concern with solid reasoning and positivity.
Better no to react but to accept the criticism as the suggestion and ways to look for the better way for accomplishment of works in a proper line with the corrected management.
