It depends on the material and the degree of contact. However,I prefer face to face courses.Whenever I have a question,I can than find an answer. Also,I feel that there should be a relation full of warmth between instructors and students. How can this happen.

It is helpful if you get to learn and apply all the language learning skills such as reading, writing, speaking and listening.

Yes, it does improve as long as you committed & be persistent and take daily lessons plus reviewing whatever you study & read the course more often.

i would say no. because there is no guarantee in improving language just by reading or writing. speaking with each other is the only way you can make your language perfect. it would wipe away all your fear and shyness in speaking english. whether it may go right or wrong try to speak with the tutor or with your friends. if your course is taught face to face then you may proceed

Although  taking  online  classes are very helpful, if you are not committed to the  class100% you will not benefit.my cousin  used to watch  American  movies and read the  translation. So if you  really want  and have the full motivation to  learn i say yes take the class.

I always believed, according to my experience as a University teacher, that when we need to learn something, we need to put our mind to it. E-learning, learning from books, learning through recorded lessons, it is all the same. What matters is our will and consistency to do so. I myself learned English40 years ago by sing-a-long English songs, and I ended by getting the highest possible grade a second language user on the TOFEL exam back then. So learning is always the same, through the will of it, not how.
