Advance structure material such as UHPC (concrete family), CFRP (fibers family) are not yet used widely even in advance countries because they cost more and the point is cost control.

Use of CFRP for example and spend more to get the best quality you need.

I carried out several years of research about the use of CFRP in construction (mechanical behavior, modelling, durability of adhesive joints, ...). A major concern is the durability of the repairs and the long-term mechanical behavior of concrete/cfrp adhesive joints. the ageing process of bonded joints under coupled environmental and stress conditions (service conditions) is largely unexplored and Its analysis requires not only the knowledge of concepts related to physical-chemistry and mechanics, but also the development of specific experimental methods.
