Make them feel that it is your job to help them, and that you love your job. Positively position your statements so that they focus on what you can do for them, not on what you can't/won't do for them, they will be willing to compromise if you are sincere and showing effort.

Toughest client is one who neither talks nor listens to you....but in this question the client at least seems to be listening to you, good marketers/Mobilizers are half psychologists... first thing we need to do is to warm them up by asking them about their personal life their interest and their abilities, appreciate their abilities and slowly and gently get down to your business point along with him....
Keep calm and try to get his point of view. If you can understand his weakness point you can easily break through and take the right way for conduct him where you want.
try to communicate with the client in other subject away from his complaint or even his inquiry in a professional way then switch to what you need in order to let the client comfortable while talking with you.
