The major enhancements in Ms Office 2013 are:
1. New alignment lines when moving objects
2. A new "Read mode" in Word 2013
3. A "Presentation mode" in PowerPoint 2013
4. Insert video and audio from online sources in MS Word
5. Capability to broadcast documents on the Web.
6. MS Word and MS PowerPoint have bookmark-like features (syncs the position of the document between different computers).
7. Resume Reading in MS Word and MS PowerPoint
8. Touch Mode along with touch enhancements.
9. Flatter look of the Ribbon interface and subtle animations when typing or selecting (Word 2013 and Excel 2013)
10. Outlook 2013 now has a new visualization for scheduled tasks
11. New graphical options in MS Word
12. New slide designs, animations and transitions in MS PowerPoint
13. Outlook 2013 supports Outlook.com and Hotmail.com mail
14. Support for Skype and Yammer
15. Excel 2013 supports new model limits.
And many more that I am yet to explore.
