1.أن يكون المدير يملك الكفاءة والخبرات والمهارات لشغل المناصب الادارية العليا .2.أن يكون لديه سجل وظيفي مرتفع ومستويات الاداء لديه عاليه كذلك يجب أن يكون مساره الوظيفي والترقيات التي حصل عليها موضحة .3.أن يكون لديه القدرة على التاقلم والتكيف مع الظروف الاجتماعية والقانونية والثقافية في المجتمعات المتنوعه وامكانية تحقيق التواصل الجيد وخلق التفاعل الايجابي مع البيئات المختلفة .4.
أن يكون لدىه رغبه هو واسرته على العمل في بيئة دولية وامكانية تحملهم لظروف العمل الجديدة والبعد عن الوطن ، وخاصة اذا كانت البيئة الجديدة مختلفة تماما عن البيئة المحلية المالوفة لديهم .

Sir thank you for seeking my opinion of your question.
From my own experiences, observations, discussions and readings spanning over30 years, I have concluded that there are certain innate qualities which set good leaders / directors apart.
Principally the directors' key purpose is to ensure the company's prosperity by collectively directing the company's affairs, whilst meeting the appropriate interests of its shareholders and stakeholders.
In addition to business and financial issues, boards of directors must deal with challenges and issues relating to corporate governance, corporate social responsibility and corporate ethics.
A organization leader / director must have following characteristics that would help take the company forward ;1.
Vision2.
Courage3.
Generosity In order to describe these principal characteristics, I would elaborate as ;1.
VISION a) Is visionary - can see the big picture and read future trends b) Is unwavering in the pursuit of their goals - but is aware of risks, monitors progress and is not afraid to change course when needed c) Adaptable to changing situations and circumstance d) Is analytical, can get to the core issue quickly e) Is strategic in thinking and outlook - but is also aware that successful implementation is what counts.
f) Understands the ‘value proposition' of the business g) Is perceptive - can read situations and other people well.
h) Exercises sound judgment - particularly under pressure i) Clarity - can think and talk clearly, stays focused j) Shows commitment - to the business, the task in hand, the executive team and staff generally k) A good communicator, both in one-to-one and group situations, as well as in writing - in substance and not just style l) Is numerate - can read and understand financial statements m) Is passionate - about the business.2.
COURAGE a) Has the courage of their convictions- particularly in troubled times.
b) Is resilient – has courage to bounce back from setbacks c) Is self-aware and self critical - acknowledges his deficiencies and addresses them; has courage to accept criticism from others.
d) Is not afraid to admit mistakes - learns from them and moves on.
e) Has a healthy self-esteem – courageous not be infallible to short term gains.
f) Challenges the status quo g) Has courage to minimize the casualties from the decisions of his team.3.
GENEROSITY a) Has top grade people skills - encourages their input, values their opinions, develops their skills and is motivating, supportive, caring and constructively critical b) Is a team player - not an autocrat, gives credit to others and seeks and values their opinions c) Is a willing and available coach/mentor to others d) Is a good listener emotionally as well, this helps improving comfort level of his team.
e) Humility - keeps their feet on the ground f) Has high standards of integrity - and becomes role model for his entire team.
g) He has emotional intelligence' - can empathizes and manage relationships with others.
I personally believe that god almighty has given all of us these characteristics, as we grow in our profession with experience and challenges in the process helps improve our skills and one is thereof ready to lead the business and be a successful director.

Thanks Dear, and here is my Definition: Direct and Guarded.
Driven by an inner need to take charge of situations and be in personal control.
Tend to be independent, strong-willed, precise, goal-oriented, cool and competitive, especially in a Business Environment.
The primary strengths are their ability to get things done, their leadership, and their decision-making ability.
Weaknesses tend to be their inflexibility, Impatience, Poor listening habits and Neglect of taking time to "smell the flowers." Can have a low tolerance for the feelings, attitudes and inadequacies of others.

ومن ضروري ايضا ان يكون سجله نظيف ومرتفع ومستويات الاداء له مرتفعة .
يجب ان يمتلك العقلية الكاملة والوعي لادارة المؤسسة , ان تكون سخصيته قوية ومستمع للجميع ومحترم من الجميع .

القدرة الادارية وتتضمن القيادة واتخاذ القرار والتحفيز

الانفتاح الدولي وتشمل الاستعداد للتعلم والقدرة على التكيف مع العالم الخارجي

الامكانات اللغوية وتتضمن معرفة الاداري باكثر من لغة او معرفة بلغة البلد الذي تمارس به الشركة نشاطها على الاقل

الاجتهاد وتتضمن أبعاد الحيوية والمثابرة والاصرار في مواجهة الصعوبات
