You should , you would be making a customer happy , and brighten their day, thats a great way to keep guest coming back , word of mouth goes aong way , friendly , caring staff generates new and existing guest, also agree with Yasir check fist if it is ok to do so

Although this is highly dependent upon the policies of the company, the GRO should be able to do it as it will garner customer satisfaction and establish relations. The company may disallow this due to stringent policies monitoring the extent of relations one can have with customers.
