1.A good construction sequence will allow for as many overlapping activities as possible, without causing safety problems.2.Method statements allow for the most economical way of working to be identified.
They can be prose or tabular and can include health and safety provisions that are required.3.Precedence diagrams are one of the best tools for preparing construction programmes, as they allow for very complex relationships to be easily incorporated.4.Regardless of how programmes are prepared, they are virtually always presented as bar charts, and computer programs are used extensively to prepare these programmes.
