I would agreed with using ABC.... Nonetheless, the are a myriad of methodologies that complement the ABC analysis and subsequent strategy. Using only one methodology doesn't cut it. You need to be familiar with the special characteristics of the business and the usage of spare parts; this will guide you in applying one, two or three methodologies or combination that will bring value to your management and company.
